Implants can be inserted at any age once bone growth has been completed. For the successful insertion of an implant, it is important that wounds can heal normally, and you should be in good general health. In addition, an adequate bone supply and good bone quality are important. Good oral hygiene is a must!.
Your dentist will be pleased to advise you on your options in connection with dental implants. If he or she does not insert implants him- or herself, you will be referred to a specialized colleague. The treatment – from the treatment plan all the way to the insertion of the dental replacement – will be the responsibility of your dentist, as usual. He or she will also arrange a schedule of regular check-ups with you.
It is never too late to achieve a better quality of life!
